ABC22/Fox45 Coverage of 12-Year Annversary of Officer Brame’s Murder

Held on November 1, 2011, the prayer vigil in Dayton marked the 12th anniversary of Dayton Police Officer Kevin Brame’s Murder.  Brame was shot and killed in the front yard of his childrens’ home on Nov. 1, 1999, and the case remains unsolved and the murderer still at large.  To share information you know that may help solve this case, call the Dayton Police Department Cold Case Unit at 937-333-7109 , or Crime Stoppers at 937-222-STOP.

    I read this story and it really touched me. Why hasnt his children’s mother been questioned or was even allowed to move to texas so fast?? That really bothered me when i read that. She was the only one who stood to gain from such a vicious murder. Insurance money, full custody of kids, all assets..ect. Then the biggest lead happened to work at her job?? True tragedy in justice

ON NOVEMBER 1, 1999, Dayton police officer Kevin Brame was shot and killed by a coward approaching from behind in the front yard of his estranged wife's home. Officer Brame was off-duty -- but armed with his service pistol -- and returning his kids from a birthday celebration for their grandfather. After 11 years, the killer is still at large and walking the streets waiting to harm others. When those risking their lives every day to protect us are victims of murder, no one in our community is safe. is organized by the family and friends of Kevin, in cooperation with the Dayton Police Department and other law enforcement agencies to collate facts of the case, news articles, and information about Kevin's life to help bring justice to the killer(s).
