Held on November 1, 2011, the prayer vigil in Dayton marked the 12th anniversary of Dayton Police Officer Kevin Brame’s Murder. Brame was shot and killed in the front yard of his childrens’ home on Nov. 1, 1999, and the case remains unsolved and the murderer still at large. Dayton Police Chief Richard Biehl comments on the November 1, 1999, murder of Dayton Police Officer Kevin Brame, and pleads for assistance from the community in helping to solve the crime. Officer Brame was shot from behind in the late evening hour outside his childrens’ home in Dayton. The murder remains a Cold Case. Law enforcement agencies are offering up to a $100,000 Reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of suspect(s) involved in the crime.

Dayton affiliate WRGT-TV anchor Kathy Hart interviews Officer Brame’s parents on “FOX 45 in the Morning.” His mother said although the day was a hard day, they don’t want people to forget about their son’s case. Ms. Hart noted Kevin was a wonderful man and urged anyone with information about his murder to call Cold Case Squad.
